Down, But Not Out!

So what happened to Flippa Chick?!?

Unfortunately, over the course of two weeks I’ve managed to blow through two web hosts, lose two weeks worth of business across 15 active domains that bring in monthly revenue, and suffered the fate of transferring 70+ domains, files, and databases to a new host. All in all, I can say that it has been an eventful past two weeks of which I hope I never have to go through again.

On a much brighter note, if you can’t tell already, Flippa Chick has received yet another face lift — one that I hope will be in place for quite a while. In addition, you may also notice that what once functioned as a part business website and part blog, has now been fully converted into a blog.

This change has been long overdue, and in my efforts to focus more on personal projects and blogging, as of  December 9th, I discontinued accepting private client work in order to launch several projects yearning to become more than just a “good idea.”

Additionally, I wasn’t doing my blog justice by going months (…okay well one month) without updating content. Truth be told, there are over 20 posts sitting in “draft” right now just waiting to be published, but between working on personal projects and handling private client work, I felt that something had to go — and unfortunately it was my blog.

With the recent changes that have taken place, I will now have more time to focus my efforts on not only writing what I feel will be beneficial blog posts, but also launching three business ventures over the next couple of months that will demand quite a bit of my attention.

While I will open back up for more custom design work and content creation in the future, I felt that a few changes were in order before I can begin accepting more work, and those include:

Branding a New Business

I believe having a memorable and unique name is one of those “can’t do withouts” of establishing a presence online. As much as I’d like to operate under the name “Flippa Chick,” I simply chosen this “username” on Flippa.com as a way to say to the web: “Hey! This chick flips on Flippa!” However, for business purposes, I didn’t feel as if it was the best route to take.

Consequently, come January 13th, I will be operating under a new website entitled: “Niche Cravers.” With the helpful of two partners, Niche Cravers will function as a one-stop shop for niche related content, private label packages, and even pre-built custom websites. Additionally, a few other services will be provided such as custom content, eBook creation, and even a nifty re-writing service — all set to  be in place before summer begins.

Killer Video Courses

Over the next few months, I’ll be releasing what I believe will be beneficial video courses for newbie site flippers looking to gain a handle on not only Wordpress, but actually designing killer graphics.

This project has been a work in progress for over 3 months now, and I hope to release little tidbits of information over the course of the next two months. Initially, my plan was to release these courses as apart of a Clickbank product, however, I’d like to start small and gather more feedback in order to develop a more comprehensive product that I believe will be suitable for Clickbank.

Desire to Blog

In the end, one avenue that I wish to actively pursue is blogging. I sincerely didn’t want this blog to become another sandboxed project, so I’ve decided to dedicate more time to making sure that I create meaningful and informative blog posts that are beneficial to my readers. Additionally, you can even follow along with a few case studies that are on the way.
