The lady behind Flippa Chick is none other than I…Yolanda.
I currently work full-time from the comfort of my pajamas as a freelance copywriter, ghostwriter, and minimalist web designer. In my downtime I also enjoy building passive income streams for myself and my clients though the power of well optimized virtual real estate (…or in layman’s term: websites that rake in the dough).
When I’m not writing or designing niche websites, I can be found procrastinating about working out, spoiling my Chihuahua, or catching up on episodes of Desperate Housewives or Heroes.
Why the Name “Flippa Chick”?
If you didn’t already know, Flippa.com is the leading marketplace for buying and selling websites online. The name “Flippa Chick” came about because this here chick is set to make her mark on Flippa as well.
Flippa Chick is a product of my combined knowledge of web design, copywriting, and online profit building tactics. Together, this killer combination of knowledge allows me to create powerful websites to a market hungry for information and solutions.
My Story
Quite honestly, I have no clue how I got started selling virtual web property, but I do recall the day I said goodbye to my classroom full of students and hello to making a living online. While the events leading up to my decision to leave the educational system are far too numerous — and oftentimes disheartening to list here — looking forward, generating a full-time income online has been an experience I wouldn’t trade.
If you ask me how I learned to design websites or how I got started flipping them, the honest truth is — I blame it on being a Generation Y baby. I made my first dollar online as a teenager and soon gave up any true hope of turning it into something more to purse educational goals. Today, I’m learning as I go and this here blog is a way to provide a road map for those who may just be jumping into website flipping and earning passive income from niche websites.

The Purpose of this Blog
I decided to turn this website into a blog in order to provide quality information to individuals such as yourself who may be searching for a way to generate extra income online through the power of well-built and optimized niche websites. Additionally, I needed a place to air my dirty laundry document my progress to reaching the various passive income goals I’ve set for myself.
When I’m not designing websites for clients, I’m designing them for myself and building up my own passive income streams. Unfortunately, my experience up until this point has been that of trial and error. There were no “site flipping guides” or “this is how you earn passive income” guides to help me along the way, so this blog is the product of my experience and discovery along the way.
